Many authorities have found that using PLCs to control and monitor
pump stations results in a high lifetime cost. Operations staff are
also frustrated by having a "black box" which cannot be changed
without calling out an engineer.
The MultiSmart pump controller has an intuitive interface for
operators and engineers. There is no programming required, instead,
the station performance is adjusted by turning on features and
changing parameters.

We found that MultiTrode pump controller offered far greater
functionality than we were able to achieve reliably with our
existing systems.
Features such as automatic pump cycling, maximum off-time
functioning preventing odours during low activity periods, random
duty starts to prevent fat build up in wells and other valuable
items such as redundant level sensing.
Our operational staff also found the product easy to use and instead
of us needing to call in system integrators or electricians to make
changes to our system, our own people can make valuable
configuration changes in minutes.
